- Joshi initially attended K J Somaiya College of Engineering but later dropped out. He then pursued his education at Jai Hind College and worked as a journalist before attending the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai, where he earned his postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism.
- Joshi co-wrote the Filmfare Awards in 2011 and 2012 and has been involved in over 250 live comedy shows. He collaborated with Tanmay Bhat and Ashish Shakya at Vir Das’s comedy platform Weirdass, writing live comedy shows, television scripts, and jokes for MTV, Channel V, and the Filmfare Awards.
