Sriman was born in Gollala Mamidada near Rajamundry EGDT, Andhra Pradesh, to his father, Karri Prakash, a renowned dancer and assistant dance director, and his mother, Jaya Lakshmi, a homemaker.
Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the film industry, Sriman’s father, Karri Prakash, evolved from being a dancer to a successful producer. Adding to the family’s legacy, his uncle, K. S. Reddy, made significant contributions as a solo dancer, dance director, actor, and director.
Sriman’s academic journey took place at Bharath Higher Secondary School in Teynampet and Adyar. Subsequently, he pursued his degree at Pachaiyappa’s College in Chennai.
