Interesting Facts About Choi Si Won
Si-won was brought up in a well-to-do family. His father, initially the President of Korean Slim Fashion, later took on the role of CEO of Boryung Medicine in 2011.
The Choi family also owns Hyundai Department Store, one of Korea’s largest supermarket chains. Despite his affluent background, Si-won’s parents insisted on self-reliance and responsibility from a young age.
At 16, Si-won was discovered by a talent agent from SM Entertainment. His journey into the entertainment world started after he passed the audition and signed a contract with the agency.
During his training period, he made a cameo in the music video of The Grace’s ‘Dana’ and brief appearances in dramas, laying the foundation for his future acting career.
