Dan Godlin is a versatile talent, excelling as both an actor and a singer-songwriter. Born in Houston, Texas, and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Godlin embarked on his acting journey in 2012, debuting in the American teen comedy film “G.B.F.” as high school jock Cameron Woods.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Dan Godlin is a professional pop/rock singer-songwriter, boasting two full-length albums, one EP, and multiple singles to his name.

Despite receiving enticing Ivy League football scholarship offers due to his high school sports achievements, Dan opted to pursue his musical passion while earning a bachelor’s degree from NYU, graduating Cum Laude in 2012.
Following his graduation, Dan quickly made a name for himself in the music industry, becoming the opening act for renowned artists such as Howie Day, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, and Anna Nalick.
His debut album secured a spot on the Top 20 “Hot AC” radio charts and reached the #3 spot on iHeartRadio’s “New!” countdown, earning him accolades such as Channel One’s Artist of the Month and a nomination for Artist of the Year.
Notable performances in Godlin’s music career include opening for Matt Nathanson, Colbie Caillat, and Plain White T’s at the prestigious Live In The Vineyard Festival and showcasing at Hollywood’s Annual MUSEXPO conference.
In 2018, Dan released three new singles, including the popular track “Demolition Heart,” which has garnered significant acclaim.
