Rina Kawaei was a key member of team A in the renowned Japanese idol girl group AKB48.
Alongside AKB48 members Anna Iriyama and Rena Katō, she formed the group Anrire, contributing to Rino Sashihara’s chart-topping single “Ikujinashi Masquerade.”
In a significant move, Kawaei left AKB48 in March 2015, bidding farewell during the group’s Summer Concert in Saitama Super Arena on August 2, 2015.
